Mongoose Women's Status 2.2 Mountain Bike. Combining performance with comfort, it features a full suspension frame and a suspension fork that smooths the bumps and gives you increased control. Linear pull brakes provide the power you need to stop at an instant. The frame of this women's mountain bike is made of aluminum and the rims are made of strong, yet lightweight alloy. 

• The Mongoose full suspension Aluminum frame - In mountain biking, weight is the major foe. The Aluminum frame reduces weight 3 times compared to the steel frame. It also offers stiffness and durability which is essential for a MTB. The dual suspension fork (sometime called full suspension fork) term refers to adding both front and rear fork. These forks allow both front and rear wheels go up or down to absorb and compress reactive force from the wheels when moving on unpaved environments.
• The rear derailleur built with Shimano TZ-30 provides 21 speed which compatible for all kinds of mountain biking from cross county to up/down hill. It is controlled by SRAM twist shifters which offer reliable and quick shifting.
• Linear breaks - The linear pull brakes also known as V-brakes, are the most essential part a bike when talking about safety. The linear pull brakes provide great power of stopping.
• Alloy wheels - The term ‘Alloy wheels’ refers to wheels that made from a combination of Aluminum and magnesium (and other material with minor percentage). This provides 3 times lighter than steel wheels and assists brakes in stopping performance.
